Lakeside Cafe by Chef's- Best Coffee in the town

I had the Lakeside Big Breakfast and a cappuccino — both were delicious and well prepared. The meal was fresh, generous, and full of flavour. The cafe has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere too. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice spot in the area by the lake. You can enjoy a good food and a nice view at the same time. It’s usually not very crowded. Staff are friendly and polite. You have a variety of options for breakfast and lunch.

Ever since Nav and the team took over 11 months ago this cafe has really turned a corner and the food is so good now! And the menu is extensive. The slow cooked lamb is my new favourite breakfast in the hills! The coffee is consistently great too. Has become our Sunday morning hangout after kids’ swimming

Love this place. It's a must eat place every time I visit. Nice casual place to sit and have coffee, lunch or dinner by the water. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and your pooch is welcome to come sit with you.

A generous 4 stars. While the coffee was delicious and the atmosphere was funky and inviting, there was a noticeable delay between my breakfast and my husband’s arriving. It also felt like takeaway orders were being prioritised, even though I ordered first. Nevertheless, the venue is cute and has a great vibe. We’re not locals and will probably never visit again, but it’s a lovely spot worth checking out if you’re in the area, coffee seriously great !

This review has been long overdue, and honestly, I’m a bit embarrassed I haven’t posted it sooner — especially since Lakeside Café is literally just downstairs from where I work, and I come here all the time. But I wanted to write a review that actually reflects how genuinely great this place is. They really deserve the shoutout! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is just beautiful — the decor is fresh, calming, and modern with warm tones and a welcoming energy. It’s the kind of place that instantly lifts your mood. Whether it’s for a quick takeaway or a sit-down coffee break, it always feels like a happy spot. The staff are absolute gems — always smiling, always friendly, and they greet us so warmly every single time. Even when it’s busy, they somehow manage to stay upbeat and efficient. You really feel looked after here. Now let’s talk about the coffee — easily some of the best I’ve had around. Smooth, perfectly made every time. Their food is also top notch — fresh, flavourful, and consistently delicious. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or just a snack, I’ve never been disappointed. Service is always super quick, even during peak times. It’s so well run, and you can tell they care about the customers and take pride in their work. It’s become such a part of my daily routine now that I honestly can’t imagine working here without popping into Lakeside. The team here is just exceptional. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favour and go — you’ll keep coming back, just like I do!

Stopped by Lakeside Cafe for a bite to eat and coffee and was absolutely astounded at the speed and quality of the Lakeside Brekkie Roll with Triple Shot Vanilla Latte and Portuguese Tarts! My companion enjoyed the Corn Fritters with Smoked Salmon very much too. Everything about this experience, from the food, the service with smiles, the quality of the presentation and the flare with which the food was presented, just stood out as high level impressive! I cannot fault this place, And everything about it is worth a five star review Congratulations Lakeside Cafe keep up the Outstanding Work!!
